The Golden Oldies...

It just shows that you don’t have to be a twenty something to steal the show. Our golden oldies Josie Kaye, Jane Whalin, Lorraine Lisbon, Audrey Moseley, Margaret Mills and Marian Howcroft star alongside Dany Rogers as Winnie and Barry Worthington as Deaf Ted in the BBC series ‘Hebburn.’ Hilarious viewing! We can’t wait for series 2.

The Secret State

The Secret State, formally known as The Coup, starts tonight on Channel 4 at 10pm. Peter Abbott and Glen Peacock were featured artists as Close Protection Officers for the Prime Minister; filming in both London and Manchester. Other members of the Casting Division played MP’s, Mi5 Officers and Police Officers. The Secret State is a gripping conspiracy thriller with an all-star cast… What more could you ask for on a Wednesday night?

With its long and established musical heritage, Manchester is a city world famous for its music, producing top acts over the last forty years. With this in view it is only right that our good friends ‘The Last Party’ should be opening the Manchester Christmas lights switch on. This homegrown talent will be sharing the stage with Misha B and The Wanted this Friday the 9th November at 6pm in Albert Square, and we will be squidged in, supporting them from down at the front of the crowds. See you there!
